Kite Zone Dubai was created by a group of internationally recognised kitesurfing and SUP instructors with over twenty years experience in the sport.
After he competed in the British Kite Surfing Association and various freestyle competitions around the world, he left the competition scene and began sharing his passion for the sport and teaching people to learn to ride.
Having taught as a qualified instructor & managed kitesurfing schools in the UK, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Sardinia, Australia & Cape town, he has an international understanding of what is both required by the student, and what is expected, from the instructor.
"Kite Zone Dubai was created out of a desire to set up my own Kitesurfing school here in Dubai, where I have made many friends and met many students over the years. The flat water and consistent westerly and northerly winds that roll in during the afternoons, when combined with the warm flat waters in the bay, bring an inviting, safe, and friendly environment in which to teach. I enjoy the friendly community of kiters that has established itself here over the past decade and I am happy and proud to be part of it."
